This krewe takes its name from the ancient Arabian fable of Scherezhade and her tales of A Thousand and One Arabian Nights. Her story of the youngest son of a destitute Arab woman who finds a magic lamp that brings him fame and fortune is one of the most enduring legends in world history.
Arguably one of the fastest-growing krewes in recent years, Aladdin
remains true to its theme by choosing a Prince Aladdin and a Princess
Jasmine each year.
